Motherwell Football Club Community Trust is recruiting experienced, motivated and committed volunteer football coaches who are passionate about delivering a range of coaching sessions/programmes across Lanarkshire.

Applicants must be individuals who want to progress whilst also being flexible to work at different times.

Coaches within the community teams are volunteers, in line with the SFA's Quality Mark scheme. 

Previous experience of working within a football in the community would also be beneficial.

The candidates will be responsible for planning and leading sessions, keeping registers, ensuring welfare, and maintaining the high standards we set here at the Motherwell Football Club Community Trust.

Candidates need to demonstrate:

  • Experience & knowledge of community sports development
  • Be able to deliver fun & exciting sessions in a safe environment
  • A confident manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiasm
  • Organisation
  • Professionalism

The successful candidate (s) will have:

  • Minimum SFA 1.2 Qualification in football
  • First Aid
  • Sportscoach UK Safeguarding & Protecting Children Certificate
  • Membership of PVG Scheme

Desirable (s):

  • SFA Level 1.3
  • Sports Leadership qualification
  • Level 1 and/or Level 2 coaching award in additional sports
