Motherwell Football Club Community Trust is recruiting experienced, motivated and committed football coaches who are passionate about delivering a range of coaching sessions/programmes across Lanarkshire.

Applicants must be individuals who want to progress whilst also being flexible to work at different times and on various projects in themes such as participation, Inclusion, Education & Health throughout our expansive and continually expanding community scheme.

Sessional coaches working in football development centres will be paid a rate commensurate with experience and qualification.

Previous experience of working within a football in the community would also be beneficial.

Candidates for football development centres MUST have access to and be able to drive a car.

The candidates will be responsible for planning and leading sessions, keeping registers, ensuring welfare, and maintaining the high standards we set here at the Motherwell Football Club Community Trust.

The successful candidate (s) will have:

  • Minimum SFA 1.2 Qualification in football
  • First Aid
  • Sportscoach UK Safeguarding & Protecting Children Certificate
  • Membership of PVG Scheme

Desirable (s):

  • SFA Level 1.3
  • Sports Leadership qualification
  • Level 1 and/or Level 2 coaching award in additional sports
  • Motherwell Football Club Community Trust delivers football and health programmes to participants of all ages across Lanarkshire. We also provide our staff with a comprehensive training programme in order for all staff to achieve our desirable qualification whilst employed with the Trust.
