Motherwell Football Club Community Trust runs a number of community participation teams. Boys' Teams run at 2002s, 2004s, 2005s, 2006s, 2007s, 2008s, 2009s, 2010s, 2011s, 2012s. Girls' teams run at Under-9s, Under-11s, Under-13s and Ladies' Development. We also run walking football and para football squads.

 

The teams play in a number of leagues across Central Scotland.

Participants pay a monthly membership fee of £30; this fee pays for administration, player registration, team affiliation, cup competitions, minibus lease, pitch hire, referee fees, playing kit, coaching kit and equipment, first-aid kit, first-aid training and coach education.

 

All coaches are SFA qualified volunteers and members of the PVG scheme.

The community teams have attracted a range of sponsors and we are extremely grateful for their support.

 

In addition we hold can collections three times each season at Motherwell FC home games. We encourage as many players to help out at these as possible to maximise funds raised. All funds raised will be reinvested into community teams. Last season this allowed us to purchase balls, bibs, tournament entries and coach education.
